Your KitCart online store comes with a built-in default blog, available on your admin. Blogging is a great way to build your audience and generate more traffic and sales for your business. Setting up a blog can help you build a community around your products and your brand.

Add blogs to your online store, and then post to the blogs to update your customers about your business or products. Blog posts drive traffic to your site in several different ways; it can improve your store's SEO, let you tell stories that convert visitors into customers and increase their engagement.

  • Add a new blog
  • Edit an existing blog
  • Link to an external blog

 

  • Add a new blog

Your online store has a default blog available on the admin.

  1. From your admin, click Blog > Add blog
  2. Add Title, Excerpts, and of course your content
  3. Click Publish, choose Publish or Draft
  4. Add an image not more than 3MB
  5. Click save

 

  • Edit an existing blog 

You may like to make new adjustments to your former post; you can edit or even delete an existing blog

  1. From your admin, click Blog > Add blog
  2. Find the blog post you want to edit
  3. Click the edit button
  4. Make your adjustments
  5. Click save

 

  • Link to an external blog

You can add a link in your online store navigation to a blog hosted on a third-party platform such as WordPress, or BlogSpot. You can link your online store to an external blog by adding it as a menu to your online store.

How to add menus to your online store

  1. From your admin, go to Store Settings > Menus
  2. Click on the customize button of either of the four available menus
  3. Add text, URL to the menu list
  4. Click save
