Your products are the goods, digital downloads, services, and gift cards that you sell. You add a product in KitCart by entering product details and uploading product images. If your product has options, like size or colour, then you can add a variant for each combination of options.
You can add or update information about a product such as its title, description, price, stock quantity, weight, and picture in your KitCart admin.

You can create product collections to organize your products, making it easy for your customers to find each category of products. For example if you sell clothes on your online store, you can categorize them into men, women and children. If you sell fabrics, you can categorize them based on fabric type, denim, crepe, tulle, lace, etc.

Products variation represents a product that is offered in multiple different variants, that is when a single product that has different attributes such as colour and size, is grouped together with its variants on a single product page. For example, a small sized striped kimono is a variant of the product- kimono.
Adding variants to your products eliminates stereotyping and improves customer experience, by making it easier for customers to search for and compare sibling-products that only vary slightly in their attributes from one another. Instead of having 50 separate product pages and requiring customers to search through all the listings, they can see all the various variants available and select their preferred colour and size from a single product page.
How to add variants to your product
Import is a feature on your admin that enables you to switch products to KitCart. Importing products is useful if you switched to KitCart from another platform - like WooCommerce, Shopify or Instagram, or you want to make many changes to your products and inventory.
